PhD students:

The Dinh Research Group at The Chinese University of Hong Kong has two PhD positions starting 2022.

 

The candidates should have a Master/Bachelor degree (among the top 100 institutions of world university ranking tables, QS,THE, ARWU) in biomedical engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, biology, mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence or a related field.

 

He/She have experience in at least one of the following areas: (1) Microfluidics, Organs/Organoids-on-Chip (2) Neuroscience (ipsc derived neuron), (3)Artificial Intelligence (4) Self-Assembly Proteins (Amyloid Beta, Tau, Alpha Syn, Silk, Plant Proteins), (5) Hydrogel & 3D bioprinting. 

The candidates have opportunity to visit and conduct the research from collaborators of our network at The University of Cambridge, University of Sydney and Stanford University.

Incubating Projects:

I have a number of translational projects on AI and Microfluidics for Drug Screening & Drug Repurposing, Microfluidics for mRNA formulation, Microparticles for Drug Delivery, DNA Microparticles, Alt Proteins .... Postdoc Position: (Closed)

The Dinh Research Group at The Chinese University of Hong Kong has a postdoc position starting as soon as possible. The initial appointment is for 2-3 years, and it will have renewed depending on funding. The salary is 33,745 HKD/month (4,333 $US/month). The candidate has opportunity to visit and conduct the research from collaborators of our network at The University of Cambridge, University of Sydney and Stanford University.  

 

The candidate should have a PhD degree in biomedical engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, biology, mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence or a related field. He/She should have published experience in at least one of the following areas: (1) Microfluidics, Organs/Organoids-on-Chip (2) Hydrogel, 3D bioprinting (3) Cell-based Experiments, (4) Animal-based Experiments for Drug Delivery, and (5) Bio-Hydrogel interactions.


Successful applicants will be expected to set up lab equipment, manage the lab, conduct the research, write the paper and grant proposal.
